KAY MARSH BIOGRAPHY

Kay Marsh grew up in Amsterdam, NY and graduated Cum Laude from Russell Sage College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business. Marrying right after graduation, she raised three children and eventually embarked on a career as a real estate broker / manager in Syracuse, NY.

Winning an art prize in fourth grade peaked her interest in art; an interest she was able to maintain by taking courses in CT., NY, and finally on Cape Cod after moving here in 1988.

On the Cape, by self-directed education, research and simply painting, Kay began her art career. Originally, she concentrated on water color as that seemed to reflect the subtle nuances of Cape Cod light, but has branched out in to oils as well.

Kay belongs to Chatham Creative Art Center, and is presently represented at Eastwind Gallery, 34 Mail St., Orleans, MA.

She has won first and second places at local art shows and her paintings are in private collections throughout the United 'States, Canada, and England.
